The WWF site has a link so you can calculate your ecological footprint....how the way you live is impacting the planet and what you can do to reduct it.
Is this classified as an "interactive element"

NOTE: This is interesting but it took a while to load and then I realised that I had used my entire internet quota for the month. Think it was the cause?

The interactive element that you mentioned is fun yet gives you a reality check. Its well used as it gets a very strong message across as the user is intreaged by the game-like aspect of it. I personally would classify this as an interactive element but think it would benefit to the website if they had an area like a discussion board where people could leave feedback, information or questions.
